Why Digitize Buildings?

Building digitalization is no longer the domain of developers alone. It brings better decision-making, cost savings, and reliable data for the entire lifecycle.

Building digitalization is no longer the exclusive domain of large developer companies. It's becoming the standard – not just because of legal BIM requirements, but primarily because accurate data helps make better decisions.

Imagine having a single source of truth instead of dozens of folders and drawings – a digital model of your building that shows how the structure really looks, what elements it contains, and when warranties expire.

Such a model doesn't develop on its own. It starts with digitizing the actual state using 3D laser scanning (like FARO Focus), drone photogrammetry, or a combination with manual measurement. The result is a point cloud that transforms into a model in Revit or IFC format.

And here opens another layer – data tools. For example, the pilot tool Validorix helps with data quality control, information retrieval, and can recommend what parameters are worth adding for facility management.

Because of this, a BIM model becomes a living tool – not an archived folder, but a digital twin used in property management, inspections, and repair planning. Investors see where they can save money, technicians have certainty that data matches reality, and design offices can respond faster to changes.

So digitalization isn't just about modern technology, but about more efficient operations and better decision-making. When a company has quality data, it gains an advantage – in time, quality, and costs.
