As-Built Survey – Apartment Building Prague 1

Apartment Building

Challenge

A historic building with non-standard geometry and various apartment layouts needed to verify actual floor areas and prepare precise materials for further project phases.

Solution

We deployed FARO Focus 3D laser scanner to capture the interior, processed data in Autodesk ReCap and CloudCompare, and used automated point cloud vectorization for precise room delineation.

Impact

Delivered set of 2D drawings, area schedule and documentation for the investor. Automation significantly reduced manual work, unified output across the building and accelerated preparation for follow-up design work.

The client needed to verify the actual state of selected floors and unify area data before planned renovation.

We combined laser measurement and photogrammetry, created survey drawings in DWG and PDF format supplemented with area tables for individual rental units.

Impact

The obtained data helped in budget preparation and streamlined communication between the investor and design office.

We prepared a survey according to Decree on Building Documentation No. 131/2024 Coll., containing floor plans, elevations, sections and a technical report.
